createArtboard()

Creates a new artboard, validates it against the schema, and adds it to the project. If an image URL is provided, the artboard’s width and height are set based on the image’s natural dimensions.

Parameters

options Artboard (partial)

The properties of the new artboard. The id is auto-generated. If image_url is provided, width and height are set automatically after loading the image.

Returns

A Promise that resolves to the newly created Artboard, or null if validation fails.
